THE CHALLENGE
CIBT Visas / Newland Chase is one of the world’s largest providers of visa and immigration services, supporting corporate employees, travellers, and students through a global network spanning the Americas, Europe, India, Africa, and APAC.
Drawing on extensive experience in large-scale office IT migrations, JSC implemented a structured and proven methodology to ensure a smooth transition. With the lease on its ageing London office nearing expiry, the business took the opportunity to relocate. While initially planning to operate from two separate offices, a late
change in circumstances resulted in both CIBT and Newland Chase teams consolidating into a single location at More Town, near St Katharine Docks, London.
JSC’s ROLE
Global Head of Facilities, Craig Riches, alongside the IT leadership team, sought an experienced partner to manage this strategically important relocation. Having previously worked with Joyce Solutions (JSC), Craig invited JSC to tender, confident in the company’s reputation for technical excellence and attention to detail. Drawing on extensive experience in large-scale office IT migrations, JSC implemented a structured and proven methodology to ensure a smooth transition.
The project began with a comprehensive audit of all IT assets across the existing offices, from core infrastructure such as servers and networking equipment to end-user devices and peripherals. This enabled a rationalisation of existing equipment, alongside identifying items for replacement, and planning new purchases in line with lead times.
In the run-up to the move, JSC led weekly project calls, coordinated stakeholders, managed logistics, and developed detailed migration and infrastructure documentation, which ultimately formed the IT blueprint for the new office.
THE OUTCOMES
Thanks to JSC’s meticulous planning, collaborative approach, and dedicated engineering team, the office migration was completed seamlessly, overcoming logistical challenges without disruption to the business.
